November 2026 - Meshtastic 2.8, Meshware.net, and Getting to Know MeshCore

We’re back, and there’s plenty to catch up on just from October. Meshtastic 2.8 brings packet signing, privacy changes, and a new US radio preset. MeshCore gets firmware updates, and we meet UMesh, another take on off-grid messaging. We also built Meshware.net to help answer ‘what node do I buy?’ There’s new hardware, October’s most-viewed devices, and a look at how MeshCore’s nodes and apps fit together. Then it’s community projects: water-tank monitoring, a pager conversion, a Palm client, wildfire damage, and mesh on cruise ships.
